Explore a glass of wine from the Old World and the New. III Forks, the iconic steakhouse that recently moved to Frisco, will feature three special wines with the theme “Flavors of the World” throughout fall and winter.
Offerings include the the Treana Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles 2018 ($16 per glass, $63 bottle), which is known for its robust flavor with notes of sweet vanilla, spicy black pepper and layered smoke that coat your palate. The Château Greysac, Bordeaux-Médoc Cru Bourgeois 2014 ($18 glass, $71 bottle) is a deep ruby garnet with red berry flavors combined with notes of spice and bell pepper in the background. And the Marqués de Cáceres Rioja Reserva 2015 ($15 glass, $59 bottle) is a dark and dense ruby color with a touch of cherry, vanilla and soft toasted notes.
The wines are also available in a flight of three 2-ounce pours for $16. They are available now through Jan. 4, 2021.
Additionally, this summer’s pour-over cocktails were such a hit with guests that one is staying on the menu and a new one is joining it. Staying is Le Rendezvous ($15), which has Rémy Martin VSOP Cognac, Licor 43, Monin Agave Nectar, pineapple juice, Angostura Bitters, fresh lime and orange juices poured over fresh pineapple, orange peel and cinnamon. Joining Le Rendezvous is Ginger Spice ($15), with The Botanist Gin, Cointreau Orange Liqueur, fresh orange juice, Pumpkin Reàl, Angostura Bitters and Fever-Tree Ginger Beer poured over cinnamon, fresh ginger and orange for an infusion of flavor.
