Couples, friends and families can enjoy a free evening in Addison Circle Park at Retro Night Out
Nights under the stars in Addison have never been better! Addison’s new series, Addison After Dark, brings a fresh perspective on themed entertainment in Addison Circle Park. Bring your beau or buddies for a Retro Night Out from 7-11 p.m. on June 15.
The FREE event, presented by Oncor, kicks off with a painting party led by a Pinot’s Palette instructor. Don’t worry if you’re not an artist: You’ll be given step-by-step instructions while creating your FREE, one-of-a-kind masterpiece that you’ll take home. Painting sessions are at 7, 8 and 9 p.m.; space is limited, so register for your spot once you arrive. At 7 p.m., dance the night away with a retro jazz concert by the Singapore Slingers. End the evening with an outdoor screening of the romantic 1944 movie Meet Me in St. Louis at 9 p.m.
Pack a picnic or grab a bite from some of the area’s favorite food trucks, including Easy Slider and Tikiz Shaved Ice & Ice Cream, which will be available throughout the event. America’s Finest Beverage catering will be selling beer, wine and more, with a portion of proceeds going to benefit the Adaptive Training Foundation, a training program for veterans.
Take a blanket or lawn chair, and get ready for an unforgettable night out in Addison!
