Nights under the stars in Addison have never been better! Addison’s new series, Addison After Dark, brings a fresh perspective on themed entertainment in Addison Circle Park. Bring your beau or buddies for a Patriotic Party from 7-11 p.m. on May 18.

The FREE event, presented by Oncor, kicks off with the M50 Sherman Tank from Cavanaugh Flight Museum firing its 75mm gun, then patrons can walk around the museum’s military car show featuring the AM General M816 Deuce and a Half, Ford M151A2, Willys M38A1 and more. Walk through a mobile “Portraits of Patriotism” gallery from the American Fallen Soldier Project and meet veterans with life-altering injuries as they demonstrate workouts from the Adaptive Training Foundation. At 7:15 p.m., check out a concert by Jon Christopher Davis and the Lone Star Attitude Band. Some of the area’s favorite food trucks will be available throughout the event. End the evening with an outdoor screening of Top Gun at 9 p.m.

Make sure to wear your red, white and blue, bring a blanket or lawn chair, and get ready for an unforgettable night out in Addison!
